be strong and self sufficient, but few are willing to put in the work necessary
to achieve worthy goals." Therefore, if you really yearn for changes and
want to live differently and better, the best and the only way to achieve it
would be to be the changes you want to see! That means you have to develop the
courage to follow your heart, and take real action to make things happen!

Is the color of your life
passionate red, gloomy blue, flashy yellow or flourishing green? No matter what
your favorite color is, imagine how dull life would be if life were to be of
only that color! Life has to be composed of a living mixture of different colors
to be beautiful, and transitory to be interesting. If you wish to live well you
should not only know how to enjoy life when it is in the color of your
choice,but also appreciate it in the
phases of gloomy blue, blinding black or dispassionate white. Somewhere in the
future, looking back at the trodden path you would realize how colorful your
life had been and how you had appreciated its ups and downs along your journey.

Next Wednesday, Dec.16th,2009,
Our meeting on Wednesday, the
16th December, will mark the 200th step in our climb towards better
communication and leadership.
Aren’t you happy and excited?
We know you have been looking forward to this milestone, like a little kid,
itching to grow up. A journey for excellence has no goalpost, it only has
milestones. It is a lifelong process where there is always another experience
to enrich us, another area to conquer and another milestone to pass by. It is
important we enjoy the journey, the experience and the jocund company it
provides to us.
Every Wednesday evening,
sisters and brothers come home; exchanging hello’s and hugs, they chit-chats
till the bell rings. The president opens the meeting in style.There are bursts of laughter and cheers as
the wit and humorous sparkle. The Table Topics session kindles our imagination,
followed by breathtaking speeches with stories, and wisdom inspiring our minds.
We end up with evaluations of our performances appreciating where we did well,
and reflecting where we could improve. The appreciation, support, and
encouragement not only boost our energy levels but immensely helps improve our
competence and courage.

Hey, can you hear, the clock of
life is ticking? Meanwhile, the river of time is flowing…… Now we're standing
here, at the point of waving goodbye to 2009 and welcoming a brand new 2010! No
matter how beautiful or sad, up or down, good or bad the past was, it's already
passed. And the most important thing is to live well today! Live deliberately,
deeply and suck out all the marrow of life! Let’s learn from others' advantages
and reflect on our weakness, appreciate our setbacks and success, but not
dwelling on.
Looking forward, let's think
deep who we really want to be and what exactly we want to achieve. Well plan
our life, well organize our time, and execute the plan to make things happen.
How colorful life is for what has happened, and how beautiful life is for what
is to come. Toastmasters and guests, let's join together at the joint point,

Dear friends,
New Experience Toastmasters Club ("NETM") is a communication and leadership training program under Toastmasters International.
Formed in 2003, NETM is managed by a group of excellent and non-paid officers and participated by members in Shenzhen. We meet at the Shenzhen Science Hall on every Wednesday.
New Experience is our way of education. We challenge ourselves and enrich our life in the pursuit of knowledge, success and happiness.
At NETM, our sessions are to inform, educate and entertain in an energetic, supportive and positive learning environment where our speakers share their unique views and experiences on different situations and topics. The speech facilitators are to tell us how we do on timing and unnecessary sight and sound. The seasoned toastmasters are to give us fair and constructive assessment and ways to improve our speaking performances.
